The signing was witnessed by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet during the Australia-Cambodia Business Forum, held on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations.

The MoU sets the stage for a dynamic partnership between the CCC and VCCI, focusing on the development of trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two regions. Both organizations have committed to an ongoing exchange of trade and investment information, respecting confidentiality requirements, and establishing referral mechanisms to better serve their members and support bilateral business activities.

Further, the CCC and VCCI have pledged mutual assistance for trade and investment missions organized by either party. They will also promote participation in Trade Fairs and special events conducted by both chambers, aiming to provide platforms for businesses to explore new opportunities and forge meaningful connections.
